Beaches Rotaract

Will be participating with its sponsoring club,  Ponte Vedra Beach and the Interactors from Ponte Vedra and Nease High school (also sponsored by Ponte Vedra Beach) in a Habitat for Humanity Build on Saturday Oct. 10 and 17th for their monthly service projects.
 

Daytona State College, Deltona Campus

Rotaractors are presenting a month long fundraising project for Breast Cancer Awareness called “Put on your Pink.” For $10, anyone can get a manicure or pedicure throughout October, with all proceeds going to the fight against breast cancer.
 

Downtown Jacksonville Rotaract

Congrats to President Megan Madrid for being named to the District Rotaract Committee as Co-Chair AND she will serve as the Rotary Florida PETS (Presidents-Elect Training Co-Chair with D6970 Rotaract Chair, Kelly Sastre.
 

Gainesville Community Club

Welcome to Danielle Chaplin, new President of the club. Past President Leigh Mangus had resign due to a job change. Leigh, a nurse practioner, was offered as job in Jacksonville…so The Downtown Jacksonville Rotaract club gained a new member when Leigh joined.
 

Jacksonville University

Congrats to our newest Rotary International Certified Rotaract Club. This club worked very hard last year to get organized under the direction of Rotaract President Ilsa Marie Gehman and VP McKenzie Bolin.
 

St. Johns River State College, Orange Park

Congrats to Community Service Chair Gary Scott who has been appointed to the District Rotaract Committee as Co-Chair.
 

University of Florida Rotaract

Will participate with their sponsoring club, Downtown Gainesville, in the "Active Streets Gainesville community event that transforms the most iconic roadway into a vibrant destination full of activities led by local organizations and businesses.
 

University of North Florida

Fourteen members participated in the “Surfers for Autism” event. The organization ‘s mission is to unlock the potential of people with developmental delays and to eliminate the stigma through public awareness and education. Rotaractors reported that they had an amazing time and the experience changed their lives!
